This Privacy Policy explains how ValueShare (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Service. By using ValueShare, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, and approximate country when you sign up.
  • Campaign data: the campaigns, rewards, links, and content you create as a creator.
  • Participation data: the email address used to join a campaign and the referral activity tied to it.
  • Click & usage data: when someone uses a referral link, we record technical data such as IP address, browser/user-agent, referrer, and timestamp.
  • Cookies: we use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to support referral attribution.

2. How we use information

  • To operate the Service — creating accounts, running campaigns, attributing clicks, and delivering rewards.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and invalid activity (for example, duplicate or automated clicks).
  • To send transactional emails such as login codes, account confirmations, and reward notifications.
  • To improve and secure the Service.

3. Click and fraud-prevention data

To keep campaigns fair, we process technical signals (such as IP address, device/user-agent, and click velocity) to score and filter invalid clicks. This data is used for fraud prevention and analytics, and is visible to the relevant campaign creator only in aggregated or limited form.

4. Sharing & service providers

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, including:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage hosting.
  • ZeptoMail — delivery of transactional email.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the Service to function — primarily to maintain your session and to attribute referral activity. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data (see “Your rights”).

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@valueshare.co and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International users

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where we do, we take steps to protect your information consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
